The Vitreous and Aqueous Humours

This is a classic either/or question. The vitreous and aqueous humours are 'O' Level biology; but how many of us can remember which is which? I know I couldn't!

For the record: the aqueous humour fills the front part of the eye (in front of the lens); the vitreous humour – a.k.a. the vitreous body – fills the larger part of the eye, behind the lens.

I know this was "only a supplementary", but supplementaries aren't just there to provide a bit of entertainment at the end of the evening. They're there to be asked in the event of errors, on the part of either the question setters or the question master; and these are exactly the times when you don't want to be asking controversial questions.

This question is normally asked the other way round: "In which part of the body would you find the vitreous and aqueous humours?" Answer: "the eye".
